Boston The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure track part time faculty lecturer in Digital Communications & Media The successful candidate will teach on-campus and/ or online undergraduate level courses in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media. This position is located at the Northeastern University Boston, MA, campus. The candidate should have a growth mindset, be innovative with specific skills and experience in current technologies in the digital communications field.
The university is unable to work sponsor for this role, now or in the future.
Responsibilities
Teaching on-campus and/ or online undergraduate level courses in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media or for a certificate program. Course range from Introduction to Organizational Communications, to Digital Communication and Strategy, Public Relations, and Managing Communication The instructor will be providing student mentoring related to course knowledge application and engage in experiential learning, managing class projects to provide hands on learning for students. Weekly lectures with real-world applications to the digital communications field, formative and summative assessments of learners' knowledge and skills using Canvas online platform. Willingness to engage in digital media innovations, such as analytics and AI applications.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field. Has at 5-7 years experience in related professional fields of work. Can demonstrate experience of digital communications from a personal portfolio. Has an established network and understands Influencer marketing. Is a lifetime learner, who is curious and has experience with a LMS, AI, and current digital marketing platforms. Certifications and savvy with campaign measurement tools as Amazon Marketing, Google Analytics, Hubspot and Hootsuite.
