Adjunct Faculty, Integrated Media Design & Graphic Design

The Division of Liberal Studies invites applications for the following anticipated adjunct faculty pool vacancies for the Spring 2025 semester:
  • Integrated Media Design & Graphic Design (GRA)

Essential Functions:
  • Instructional preparation.
  • Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades on time.
  • Attend program team meetings.
  • Other duties as required.


Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in graphic design, integrated media design, or a highly related field is required (an Associate's degree in Integrated Media Design or Graphic Design with comparable industry experience will also be considered).
  • Five years of current practice experience in the field of graphic design.
  • Portfolio of 8-10 pieces of work in graphic design or integrated media.
  • Knowledgeable of current and emerging graphic design trends and professional practices, including understanding marketing, branding, printing, and new media communications.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite relevant to graphic design and digital media.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience teaching in person and online.
  • A commitment to and experience working with a diverse student body is also required.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a national background check.


Additional Information:
SALARY: Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours. This is a non-benefited, MCCC position.
